1. EAGE Annual Conference & Exhibition
The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) Annual Conference & Exhibition is one of the most important global events for the geoscience community. It attracts over 6,500 people looking to explore new and innovative technologies, products, and services and companies wishing to showcase their services and products and increase their brand awareness.
The 2020 EAGE Annual Conference revolves around the three core dimensions of the energy transition: energy security, energy equity, and environmental sustainability. They have invited a range of speakers, will present several relevant examples, and plan a field trip to look at diverse energy solutions. 2. SEG Annual Meeting and Exhibition
The SEG Annual Meeting is one of the world’s premier geophysical events, attracting a highly qualified audience of geoscience professionals and leading companies – from innovative start-ups to global corporations.
In 2020, the SEG Annual Meeting celebrates its 90th anniversary. It gathers geoscience professionals from all over the world to discuss the latest in geophysics, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and seismic data acquisition and processing. The conference and exhibition takes place in USA, this time in Houston, TX, on 11.-16. October 2020.

3. Petroleum Exploration Technology Exhibition (PETEX)
The Petroleum Exploration Technology Exhibition (PETEX) is the largest subsurface-focused global E&P conference and exhibition in the UK. The conference is a vital meeting place for geoscientists, reservoir engineers, data managers, and companies to mingle and network and gain insight into new technologies, cases, and products.
PETEX includes both a technical program and an exhibition space. The technical program focuses on the latest global activity in exploration, field development, reservoir management, and unconventional exploitation. The exhibition features industry operators, service companies, national oil companies, financial companies, and professional organizations.

4. Offshore Technology Conference Asia (OTC Asia)
The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is the driver behind some of the world’s leading events for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection.
In 2014, they launched OTC Asia to support the growth of the offshore oil and gas industry in Asia, to enable knowledge sharing on applied technologies and best practices between industry professionals and create opportunities for collaboration and cooperation between member societies based in Asia.
The 2020 edition of OTC Asia will gather over 20 000 energy professionals, over 400 thought leaders and expert speakers, and over 150 exhibitors in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 24.-27. March.

5. AAPG 2020 Annual Convention and Exhibition (ACE)
The American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) 2020 Annual Convention and Exhibition (ACE) is, in many ways, the intellectual headquarter for the geoscience community. The conference provides attendees with information and insights on technology, science, and skills to help the industry’s future.
In 2020, ACE aims to attract close to 7,500 professionals from more than 72 countries to gather around a business forum of technical programs, state-of-the-art technology displays, and networking activities.
ACE 2020 will be held 7.-10. June in Houston, TX, USA. This year, the AAPG promises more content, more attendees, and more impact, and the conference is on track to be the most comprehensive in the association’s history.

6. The Annual International E&P DM Conference
The E&P Community for Data and Information Management (ECIM) hosts the Annual International E&P DM Conference. ECIM is a non-profit organization established by the industry for the industry to promote data and information management as a profession, competence, and best practice within the E&P industry.
The conference offers an excellent opportunity to network with peers within the industry, from operators, service providers, and technology innovators to regulators and academia. A range of various presenters will share their experiences on topics such as data and information best practice, digital transformation, subsurface data management, machine learning and analytics, GIS data management, and more.
The ECIM 2020 event will be the 25th anniversary of the conference held between 14. And 16. September in Haugesund, Norway.

DigEx is a Norwegian conference for geoscientists working with the subsurface domain in the oil and gas industry. It attracts people from oil companies, service companies, the authorities, and research and educational institutions. The conference circles around the topic of the digital subsurface and how digital technology enables the oil & gas industry to change the way geoscientists work.
The DigEx conference provides presentations with concrete examples of how companies are embracing digital technologies and how their workflows and approach to the value chain are changed from a subsurface perspective.
The DigEx 2020 program includes sessions on topics ranging from digital frameworks for a competitive industry, platforms in the cloud, and subsurface innovations and digital solutions, to exploration workflows, reservoir insights, and subsurface visualization. 8. Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC)
Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) is one of the largest and most influential events for the oil and gas industry, attracting more than 155 000 attendees in 2019. ADIPEC brings together Energy Ministers, global CEOs, leading decision-makers, and companies for four days of business, dialogue, and knowledge sharing on today’s energy needs and tomorrow’s energy landscape.
ADIPEC takes place in Abu Dhabi from 9.-12. November 2020. The conference will cover topics across the entire value chain and facilitate discussions that enable industry experts to exchange ideas, energy trends, policy information, and geopolitical factors that shape the energy sector’s future. The conference centers around emerging trends in upstream oil & gas data management and analytics. It will cover topics related to the management, integration, and interpretation of data to drive faster, more accurate business decisions. 10. APPEA 2020 Conference and Exhibition
The APPEA Conference and Exhibition is "the voice of Australian oil and gas" and is of particular interest for petroleum engineers. The conference and exhibition offers the opportunity to connect with other businesses, potential clients, and suppliers, get access to technical and business insights to drive ideas, overcome challenges, and share innovative discoveries, and check out cutting edge technology.

11. GEO 2020
GEO 2020, or the 14th Middle East Geosciences Conference and Exhibition, is the largest and best-attended technical event of its kind in the region, attracting over 4000 geoscience professionals in Bahrain. The conference and exhibition are organized and developed by the three largest professional geoscience associations in the world: the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG).
The 2020 conference will focus on the theme "Geosciences in the Digital World: 2020 and Beyond" and offer technical presentations from key industry figures. The exhibition is considered a premier showcase of oil and gas exploration technology and services in the Middle East and attracts NOCs, IOCs, and major operating companies.

GeoConvention is an annual convention and exhibition produced by the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG), the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (CSEG), and the Canadian Well Logging Society (CWLS). Held in Calgary, Canada, the GeoConvention brings together a fully integrated geoscience program, relevant for industry professionals working with either petroleum, base and precious metals, geophysics, groundwater, bedrock and seabed mapping, geohazards, uranium, or environmental remediation.
The 2020 GeoConvention will take place on May 11-13 and present the latest developments across a complete spectrum of earth science professionals. In addition to a robust technical program, the convention also covers topics related to business and finance, energy diversification, completions technology, advances in education, carbon capture, and energy advocacy.

13. Offshore Northern Seas (ONS)
The last entry on this list is the Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) event, held in Cegal’s hometown Stavanger, Norway.
The ONS Foundation’s mission is to facilitate world-class discussions on how to create a sustainable energy future, connect people, businesses, and technology, and inspire decision-makers within the energy community to find joint solutions to the world’s energy challenges.
Their main biennial event attracts more than 65 000 visitors from close to 100 countries to an informed and sustainable public debate on energy.
Each event has a central theme that guides the discussions. In 2020, the central theme is Together, a call to action for a united energy industry in the face of unprecedented changes related to digitalization, technological development, and increasing demand for clean energy.
